Tourism Ambassador Summer Student (Amherst)

Are you passionate about promoting Nova Scotia to travelers from all over the world. As a Student Tourism Ambassador at the Amherst VIC, you will gain practical, professional tourism experience, and receive training and mentorship from our travel counsellors. This is the perfect opportunity to assist with welcoming visitors and providing customized trip planning assistance and customer service to visitors travelling throughout Nova Scotia.

This position reports to the Amherst Visitor Information Centre Supervisor.

Maintenance Summer Student (Amherst)

Seasonal

As a student Maintenance Worker at the Amherst Visitor Information Centre, you are a part of a team responsible for assisting with the seasonal maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Amherst Visitors Information Centre building and grounds including required janitorial duties.

This opportunity would be a great fit for a student who enjoys being outside, as well enjoys working with various types of equipment. As a Maintenance student, you will gain hands on experience, and receive training and mentorship from our maintenance employees. This position is a demanding position which requires working in various types of weather. 

This position reports to the Amherst VIC Maintenance Supervisor.
