Visitor information centres (VICs) offer trip planning advice to visitors looking for local knowledge. Keep VIC staff up-to-date about what your business offers including packages, specials, events, and services. Display your brochures to catch the attention of visitors who are planning their trip.
Provincial VICs
Tourism Nova Scotia operates five provincial VICs throughout the province: Amherst, the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, Peggy’s Cove, Port Hastings, and Yarmouth. We also operate a tourism contact centre to offer trip planning services by phone or e-mail.
Our visitor services team provides expert knowledge and friendly, personalized service to help visitors have a memorable experience in Nova Scotia. This includes providing directions and information, creating itineraries, and making recommendations on products and services.
See Contact Us for provincial VIC contact information and hours of operation.
Community VICs
Organizations throughout Nova Scotia operate visitor information centres in their communities. While Tourism Nova Scotia does not manage these centres, we do provide financial support to eligible centres through our Community VIC Funding Program which is administered by several industry partners.
See a list of community VICs. This list is updated each spring. We recommend that you contact the community VICs directly to discuss opportunities to promote your business, as their requirements may vary.
