Tourism Nova Scotia’s new Tourism Digital Assistance Program can help you enhance your online presence and connect with potential customers.
We know travellers are increasingly researching and booking their vacations online. The Tourism Digital Assistance Program can help you increase your visibility online and provide the services customers expect, like online booking. When planning their trip, visitors want to know upfront what they can expect when they visit your business, particularly in light of health and safety concerns related to COVID-19. Having a strong online presence helps give potential customers more confidence in booking with you.
How it works
Through the Tourism Digital Assistance Program, Tourism Nova Scotia in partnership with Digital Nova Scotia will provide eligible tourism businesses with the services of qualified digital consultants to enhance or develop effective digital marketing and e-commerce tools. The program will cover the full cost of consultant services (up to a maximum of $5,000).
Digital Nova Scotia will pair selected businesses with consultants who have expertise in the tactics they require such as website creation, search engine optimization, content creation, digital marketing strategy, social media strategy, online booking systems, and e-commerce tools.
Priority will be given to small and medium sized tourism businesses whose primary focus is attracting and servicing visitors.
