Condé Nast has declared Nova Scotia one of the top places in the world to travel in 2021!
Each year, the leading US travel magazine publishes lists of “The Bests” in travel. The lists cover a range of topics from hotels to road trips to destinations and help provide inspiration for trip planning in the year ahead.

Obviously, the focus of this year’s “The Bests” lists is a bit different due to the pandemic. Conde Nast says, “without knowing how much freedom we’ll have to move around in the upcoming year, we sought out destinations that are close to home with new reasons to visit.”
Nova Scotia was highlighted with the new luxury Muir Hotel on the Halifax waterfront, the newly designated Cliffs of Fundy Global Geopark, and the Bluenose 100th anniversary celebrations.
While this has been an unprecedented year for the tourism industry, Nova Scotia continues to make its mark in the world and features like this help to keep the province top of mind for when it is safe to travel again. Our travel media team helps keep the province on the radar by sharing new products, experiences, and developments with travel writers.
Congratulations to everyone working hard to make Nova Scotia shine!
