This fall Nova Scotia will be the centre of the Travel Media universe. Chosen to host Destination Canada’s GoMedia Canada Marketplace, more than 300 international media and national tourism industry representatives from across Canada will be in Halifax September 30 – October 5, 2017. It’s time to roll out the welcome mat.
Hosting GoMedia Canada 2017 is a tremendous opportunity to showcase what the province has to offer as a travel destination. By bringing this event to Nova Scotia we’ll expose travel media and influencers to the many reasons why we are an incredible travel destination.
Help us roll out the welcome mat. Tourism Nova Scotia and its GoMedia Canada Hosting Team invite tourism industry professionals from across Nova Scotia to join our team as hosts for this incredible international tourism industry event. As proud, informed and enthusiastic members of our Tourism Industry, we welcome the opportunity to add your name and knowledge to our volunteer hosting team for the GoMedia Canada Marketplace. We have many roles to fill from Delegate Welcome Desks and tour hosts and directional guides, there are many “behind the scenes” roles such as kit stuffing and gift sorting. Depending on your availability and interest, there’s something for everyone if you want to get involved.
This is not only a great opportunity to interact and network with some of the world’s most influential travel media but also to work alongside your colleagues and industry partners in Nova Scotia as a part of the world’s best hosting team ever assembled!
As a volunteer, you will be expected to contribute at least a half day of your time, between September 30 and October 5, 2017.
